I was looking at Cabela's web site and they have a grill called the RV sidekick that mounts on a rail on the side of the TT and hooks in to the TT LP with a quick connect like the RVQ. I'm in the market for a new grill since the Wally World portable we have now is on its last legs and the TT we have now has a quick connect fitting for an outside grill. I was wondering if anybody has used this grill and what they think about it.

I've got the sidekick and really like it. I'm a big barbecue nut, and actaully prefer to cook with wood or charcoal, but for convenience this is a good grill. Be sure to line the front and back of the bottom with foil, it makes clean up real easy. I've seen people saw off the little top rack, it really gets in the way. This little grill actaully gets hot enough to put a pretty sear on your steaks as well. Be sure your hose is the same fittings as what's on your tt, mine wasn't and I had to get the right fittings, so test it at home before heading out to the campground. If you search for sidekick grill you'll get some more comments. Hope this helps!
You can do a search here on the forum, and it seems like people love them or hate them. We have one that came with our Jayco, but we have not used it yet.

I'll keep that in mind. Thanks!

I'm surprised to hear this since lots of complaints are that these grills do not get hot enough...I gues we'll see when we try it.
