Im getting close to heading out on a trip and decided to call FJ and ask a couple of questions.

Laboring under the impression that I COULD NOT use a VISA at the "truck pumps" I intended to ask if it was OK to use a "MasterCard" at the semi islands.

I started out telling the gentleman in Ogden that .."Im under the impression that I CANNOT use a VISA card at the truck islands...and he stopped me and said "Thats not true now:"..?? He said that "as of a month ago ALL credit cards will be accepted at the truck islands"!! "But that if things had remained as they were previously..then Yes I could use my Mastercard."

Just thought Id pass that along

So, did you understand one can use now VISA credit cards at their professional truck islands? They resolved their dispute with VISA?

Has anyone actually used a VISA card at one of these professional truck islands in the last few days, not the RV islands?

Correcto! He said "that problem has been resolved" and we can use any credit card at the truck islands now

TIt's good to hear that. Now I won't have to use my VISA to purchase a "Gift Card" and then use the gift card to purchase the gas. That is what I've been doing for the past 6 months.

Not if you have the Flying J RV card to go with your credit card.

We, too, recently filled at numerous Flying J Truck islands using MC, Visa and Amex, getting the cash price by using the FJ card.
