Anyone celebrating Mother's Day by doing what we all love best - camping? We're taking our pup to a local state park for two nights. It's my favorite way to spend Mommy's Day - with my dh and kiddos in the great outdoors!

Yes we're camping as well but the weather forecast is not too favorable. Lots and lots of rain and strong wind gusts. The kids are too excited about it to let that dampen their spirits. It's a local cg so I guess if it gets too terrible we can always go home.

Happy Mother's Day to all and Happy Camping!

I came up with the best Mom's day gift. I'm taking the kids out camping while she gets to spend the weekend by herself.
Actually, the trip was planned before realizing what weekend it was, but don't tell her that.
Headed out to Fort Summit, FL.

No, breakfast here with our daughter and her husband. But, we leave on Tuesday for 6 nights in Gettysburg at the Granite Hill Bluegrass Festival. Close enough to be called a Mother's Day Get-Away!

Yes, we are camping in Mount Pleasant near Charleston. It is KOA's one night free camping. Pretty nice place with nice surroundings!

I would love to go camping for Mother's Day, but DH has to work. But we will be at the beach for Father's Day. I will have to plan better for next year. I hope you all have fun.
