Yes, but only because I chose to change jobs, not because of the economy.

Definitely better. No debt. Better job. I saw an article the other day where a survey asked how the country was doing economically. 70% of the people said the country was in terrible shape, everybody is losing their jobs, losing their homes, etc. They then asked how they themselves were doing and about the same number said they were fine. It's all about perception. You hear things are bad long enough and it starts to sink in. Sure things are tough, but most people are doing ok. Maybe not great, but ok.

Much better off now than 4 years ago. We have been fortunate enough to continue improving our life style every year since we were married 10 years ago.

Yes.
Same job, same wife, same dog, newer RV, same truck, same house, same mortgage, some new friends, most of the old friends.

Better doesn't ALWAYS mean more $$$.

No and it is getting worse. Someone has to find a way to stop the rise in the price in fuel before it is to late. Our economy can not take this much longer
