That's simply not true. The F53 is made for Ford by Detroit Chassis, at a plant in Detroit.
Some of the E-series cab chassis and cutaway chassis production is from Mexico, some from the U.S. Which you get is a toss-up.

Now which would an "educated market" pay more for:
Mercury Villager or Nissan Quest minivan?
Toyota Corolla or Geo Metro automobile (certain years only)?
Each one of the pairs built on the same assembly line in North America, as a US/Japan joint venture, yet "Japanese" brand commands at least 15% more in re-sale value.

I doubt that we will see Class A MH's made in a foreign country and shipped to the U.S. as the shipping costs would be prohibited IMO. Not enough volume to make this very profitible for a Foreign Mfg.
I doubt the shipping cost would exceed $5,000usd. As a "one off" I can ship a MH to Australia for $9,500usd.
