Well you all are correct I finally found it in the manual. Salesman was FOS, so is this transmission a good thing or a bad thing

I have heard nothing bad about the transmission. In fact, my next truck is likely to be the Dodge with that transmission.

Everybody who has it seems to like it... I haven't heard of ANY troubles with it, and there are already a number of 6.7 owners online with over 100k on their trucks.

The salesman told you it had an Allison becuase Allison is simply the best. Chevy all the way... Those guys will say anything to sell a truck. Dodge has had problems with some of their transmissions. But, I think any of the trucks today are pretty good trucks... I don't think you can go wrong with any new one....

Hi, My wife and I have been planning a 2 yr+/- trip around the Western US. Up until recently we were looking very seriously at Class A's in the 40'+ range and towing a pick-up with our motorcycles in the back of the pick-up...However; due to the terrible real estate market {$$$}, we are reconsidering and now starting to look at toy haulers in the 40' range. We would like a mfg model that has a lot of creature comforts as we intend to be full timing for a while until we relocate. Could you share your knowledge of the available mfg and models so that we could narrow our search {there are sooooo many}. We have looked at WW, Raptors, and have a trip planned this weekend to look at the KZ Esclade. We are prepared to acquire an adequate TV as necessary. Thank you very much..

fuzzy logic...been a while since I heard that term. I designed a flight simulator for the U.S. Air Force using fuzzy logic. Anyway, have you decided if you want a garage or non garage? Possible garage models to look at KZ, Fuzion, Cyclone. W/D units a must? If so, that will narrow down your search unless you plan to install them.

FYI:
I have a screen net that slips over a patio umbrella and drapes to the floor. Keeps the bugs out and its inexpensive. It would allow you to use your ramp as a real patio. I think I got it at Camp-mor.
