Thats the same unit I have but I only use it for a couple of things so I run it off of 2 extention cords. Do you have to unplug shore line and plug in inverter line and reverse to go to Gen. power?

You should only have to unplug for shore power, and if you are hooked up to shore power, you don't have to use the inverter or Genny...

I've alreay installed a Transfer switch after looking at this, I don't need it!!!!

I knew that, but just figured this out, this is a real simple hook up. I'm gonna give some thought to do this to mine. Just have to remember to cut power to the charger.

What I can do is run the Converter off the Shore/Generator side of the transfer switch. I'll just run it off it's own circut breaker.

You need to make sure the Refer is on Gas... And the converter is turned off.

That's what we are tying to figure out.

I wonder if you can pick up a signal source from the inverter that it's on and use a relay to cut power to the converter?

My converter and fridge (120 volt heater) are tied together onto one breaker that could be switched off when boondocking.

This inverter has a remote panel with an ON/OFF button. You can also switch from three different read outs 1. input voltage 2. input current 3. output power

When I store the Hauler for any lenghth of time I will hit the trip switch on the circuit breaker and be totally disconnected.

An automatic switch would be great to turn off the converter if someone comes up with one let us all know!
