My President’s Club membership at Camping World will be expiring in June, and I have been receiving solicitations to renew. I won’t be renewing, and I won’t be buying my RV supplies exclusively at Camping World, as I have in the past.

Now, there’s nothing wrong with Camping World; in fact, it’s a great company, but I heard not so long ago that it is affiliated with, or owned by, the same folks at the Good Sam Club. I also, not so long ago, paid what for me is a large sum of money to become a Good Sam Life Member.

Don’t you think that Life Members of the Good Sam Club ought to have an automatic President’s Club membership? Or, to make it simpler, shouldn’t we be able to show our Life Member cards at Camping World stores, and receive the same discounts?

Life Members have demonstrated their long-term commitment to the Good Sam Club. How about the Club and Camping World returning the love?

Camping World used to have some competition, but I think they drove them all out of business and now there are only some select niche players.

Seems to be more of a VERY GOOD suggestion to the powers that be at Affinity and certainly makes sense to me, rather than a complaint.

I refuse to pay a "fee" for the "privilege" of lower prices. I'd much rather give my money to a small family store than a huge conglomerate, even if I have to pay a tad more.

Camping World, Coast to Coast, Trailer Life magazine, Motor Home Magazine Good Sam and Woodall's are some of the major of the Affinity group.
Your Good Sam card gives you the discount at Camping World.
The President's Club card does give some additional discounts however you need to decide that yourself.

I guess they could return the love, but then they wouldn't make all that money. Well, no, don't think that is going to happen. They have to pay the increased postage on all that junk mail they send us.
Good idea though.....

Maybe we could come up with a suggestion for the oil companies to give us back some of the love, that would be something.

I guess, once they get our money, they just don't love us that much any more.

Same here, I let our membership lapse some years ago and really havne't missed it yet. In fact I've saved more by not being a member than I would have by being one.

I went to a CW store for the first time three weeks ago. I was not impressed with the store so since I have to pay tax and shipping for an item I will not renew with the Presidents Club. I will keep my Good Sam though.

Sorry, you should have known what conditions and what privileges you would receive when you plopped down all that money to become a LIFE MEMBER and CW Presidents membership was not one of them. Now you want them to include that? Why? They already have your money and you already have your lifetime membership.
