Rapters are always a problem and it is getting worse.

My origional reason for getting involved with the birds was to use the RV trips to train them. This will be my third summer with them. The learning curve has been steep. It did not help that you cannot sex pigeons until they start to reproduce and I started my first spring with seven hens and no cocks. It was a while before I realized my problem and then it was late in the season.

Now I should have enough to race this fall, but it is too early to fly the young birds from the RV. I don't want to risk my older breeding birds by flying them.
