With great teams like the Wings and Pistons it is too bad Detroit doesn't have a professional baseball or football team.

Oh, the Red Wings winning all the time counter balances the Detroit Lions loosing! Bags.

LOL!! Good Point!

It's funny how quickly the professional sports in a city can go from bad to good and good to bad. Go back to the year 2000 here in St. Louis for example. The Rams won the superbowl with "The Greatest Show on Turf", the Cardinals were always in the playoffs, and the Blues were one of the top five teams in hockey, even winning the President's Trophy with the best record in the league. Now fast forward to today, and the Rams and Blues are hovering near the bottom of their respective leagues. The Cards are still competitive however, and may make the playoffs this year.

My point is, enjoy it while it lasts, because even though the Red Wings have been a force for so many years, it could end next season. And the Lions could win the Superbowl next year! You just never know! Nobody would have believed the Rams would be in 2 Superbowls in three years, but it happened!

Great win, Deeeeetroit!

The press conferences of several Stars and their coach after each win, had the same, stone-faced crybabies paraded for the media. Crybabies Modano, Turco, and their team captain, what's-his-face. They knew they were toast, just not buried yet! Ha!
