I sent a note to this campground asking about pet policies and amenities because I'm always looking for a pleasant place to spend a couple of days. Don't know if anyone else has stayed there or is interested in a "pet friendly Resort" but FWIW, here's the reply I received:
Quote: We received your inquiry about our pet center asking for more detailed information. The center features two washing stations which have sink areas for smaller dogs and also an area for larger dogs to be washed with warm running water. There is an area for the dogs to eliminate in and then have it washed away. The center also has benches, a table and chairs as well as landscaping and waterfall features for the pet owners to relax as well. Throughout the park are waste disposal stations for use while walking the pets.
As for the pet restrictions, good behavior is key. All dogs are welcome, but they must be kept on a leash while walking, they are not allowed to run free throughout the park and any breed that shows aggressions towards other dogs and/or humans will be removed from the premises. Constant barking is another issue that could lead to the removal of the dog from the premises.
