If you're wanting the omega 3's, you can get those in a supplement and then go with the mayo you really like the taste of. (not good grammer, but what the heck!)

For some things, I use only Miracle Whip...for some things, only Mayo.

The only mayo I buy for now on is Best Foods which is Hellmans's. I end up throwing away the other brands.

I like Duke's Light, too, but Bama Lite is my favorite. Someone at a rally, we went to, said that Smart Balance was "good for you." It does have .5g less total fat, .5g less sat fat per TBSP but more sodium and carbs that Bama AND cost twice as much.

So, I was trying to decide if the "good for you" mayo would be worth the loss of taste and cost. Probably not!

Thanks, everone!

I have to agree that Best Foods (Hellman's) is the only mayo worth buying.

Well, why not make your own. If you use a blender or food processor you can make it in 5 minutes or less. We use OLIVE oil for my mayo. Flavor it with herbs or what ever you like. My DW has a herb olive oil mayo with basil that fantastic on southern style tomato sandwiches. We haven't bought any in years. Fact is we make small batches so we can make it fresh.

I have tried Smart Balance mayo-it was horrible.Had a real sweet taste that ruined everything it was put in.Was surprised because I love their peanut butter, cream cheese and butter product.
