He's the son of the Intimidator?
He makes an excellent sparing partner for Kyle?
He needs one more chance at a win?
He probably has the greatest number of fans?
I want him there?
He's near the top of the points race?
He makes great commercials?
Nobody hates him?
I'll ask Dave Despain.....

Jr is eligible because he has won a past all star race.
I would like to see big brother take Kyle out again like last year setting the win for 88

Ok, nascar bills this race as a run for the money non-points race, winner take all type event. The very design and structure of the race is intended to try and make for close, short duration "racing" or wrecking.
Lets say that a driver or team does something bad, something that is considered beyond "just a racing deal", something that is blatant and clearly unacceptable.
Since this is a non-points event can the team be docked championship points for an infraction like this? I suspect they could very well be fined, but could/would nascar take championship points as well?

Because if the Earnhardt Nation doesn't show up the stands would be half empty!! That in itself make him instantly eligible!

I think they should have Jr. and Kyle ride together in the same pickup bed around the track during introductions. That will confuse the fans, they won't know whether to cheer Jr. or Boo Kyle...
btw, I hear there is going to be burnout contest. Does anyone know when this will take place?

If it is sanctioned by Nascar I would think all rules and consequences on infraction of those rules would apply....Remember it's Nascar..they just kind of make it up as they go along anyways...

Dave Despain said last night the burn out contest will take place before the actual race during the "NASCAR raceday" preshow festivites on Speed.........and they are going to be using the petty racing experience cars to do the burnout contest
