I'm not going to be popular here anymore after I say this, wait a minute I'm not popular now, but anyway Jr. is way over-rated today as a driver. He makes mistakes that cost him the races, he does not have the motivation to push himself to a win, he is spread pretty thin with everything in his life and he is aging.

Kyle on the otherhand is the driver to beat. He dose not want second place and will push himself to get past the driver in front of him to win. That is what this sport is about. How many times has Jr. just simply not one a race because of his driving? Kyle wasn't the problem in all of Jr's losses was he? Come to think about it didn't Jrs loosing steak start before Kyle was even in Nascar?

I can respect the fact that Kyle is a good driver. I do think is has a bit of a big head and a little smug. He does remind me of Dale Sr, he takes chances and will do whatever to get the win. I do support Jr just like I am a fan of 24, 48, & 20. I do think Jr has a better ride in Hendrick and out of the 4 drivers on that team he has been performing the best. He is getting his confidence back which I think he lost at DEI. DEI did not want to provide to him what is needed to have a top performing car. Look at how many blown engines he had last year. Six I think. Look at where he is in the points. Last year he did not make the chase and this year I think he will be a strong contender.

On another note I think JGR using Toyotas are the cars to beat and giving everyone fits. I bet by next season you will see more teams jump to Toyotas.

A burnout contest is about as silly as anything I can dream up. I really like the Pit Crew Challenge, thats something that is all about racing; just how many races are won and lost in the pits?
Like I've said before, I'm not a Jr fan, but I do find it really odd that he hasn't trophied in two years. He's much too talented to believe that he can't win a race. I find it odd too that Hendricks is struggling as a whole. This whole season is not going anyway shape or form to what I thought it would. Go figure.,..

If he's new to NASCAR, then he has pretty good perception. Because he's right.

Jr. didn't lose all of those races because of Kyle Busch. What is his losing record now 72 races.

Can't you see by my punctuation, word usage and spelling I am a perfect demographic for Nascar and have been watching for 20+ years?

I've gotta slow down and proof my posts and quit relying on spell check

Jr was driving for TEI and now he is the top driver in points for Hendrick Racing .

Seriously, how is Junior eligible to run in the All Star race this week? I thought it was winners from last season and past champions only.

Because if the Earnhardt Nation doesn't show up the stands would be half empty!! That in itself make him instantly eligible!

LOL!!! I agree - it's pretty amazing, that when Junior takes the lead, that one can hear the crowd cheering over the noise of 40+ unmufflered V-8's!!!! Junior's remarked that even HE can HEAR them....LOL!!

Does that mean he suddenly became THAT much better at driving, OR does it mean his driving is the same except he has better equipment?
