Silver Knight and RVbiker, could not agree with both of you. You said it so well, I will just say, well done, you hit the nail on the head. Another newcomer to Nascar, for 25 years.

This is what Marty Smith wrote about the Kyle:
Busch does drive like a young Earnhardt, though, and damn is it fun to watch. I don't care if you hate him, you can't deny the entertainment value of watching him work. I marvel at it. And hear this: He's gaining fans faster than any driver this side of Dirty Mo Acres. Don't believe me? Take a peek at the souvenir trailers at your next race.

Nascar All-Star race, what if it goes down like this...
I like Kyle! PETTY that is! Here is how it could go! The race begins and after a few laps Junior has the lead and little Bush is on his tale. They come up on Kyle Petty soooooo fast they nearly run over him and get together trying to miss him. They and everyone behind them wreck and ruin their cars but no one is injured! Kyle Petty wins the race! GO KYLE!!! I really like him but I am afraid it's going to take something like this for him to win again. The Petty's seem like good people.

Kyle Petty will win another race when a crash takes out the whole field except for him while he is three laps down. If his name was not Petty, he would have been watching from the infield 10 years ago. Nice guy, but he needs to go to the booth and talk about all the old timers he watched his father race.

He makes mistakes that cost him the races, he does not have the motivation to push himself to a win, he is spread pretty thin with everything in his life and he is aging.
Kyle on the otherhand is the driver to beat. He dose not want second place and will push himself to get past the driver in front of him to win. That is what this sport is about. How many times has Jr. just simply not one a race because of his driving? Kyle wasn't the problem in all of Jr's losses was he? Come to think about it didn't Jrs loosing steak start before Kyle was even in Nascar?
I can see your new at NASCAR.
If he's new to NASCAR, then he has pretty good perception. Because he's right.
Jr. didn't lose all of those races because of Kyle Busch. What is his losing record now 72 races.
Jr was driving for TEI and now he is the top driver in points for Hendrick Racing .
I'm sure you meant DEI. But can any Jr fan tell me exactly why you are a fan?
Is it his driving ability?
His image?
His wranglers?
The way he talks on TV?
seriously, please educate me. His dad was my favorite driver and I thought he would carry the tourch but that hasn't been the case, IMO.

It's gonna be awfully hard for Kyle PETTY to win any race let alone the the all star race.....since he'll be watching it from his hauler
Now that he's out of the top 35.........stick a fork in him....he's DONE!

I am afraid your right Bounder! If you read my post about him closely you'll see I said would be the only one running. I agree he has seen his day (which at best was not super)but I still like him. No matter who wins or looses it ain't gonna put a penny in my pocket! Have a good evening!

Crazy,
I did read your post and I was just speaking more generally than the all star race.......I'm afraid he's no longer even in the shadow of his dad........
It's really sad to see names like Petty and Andretti associated with the poor performances they are putting out.........It's gotta be heartbreaking to their families.........especially their Dad's......
It's too bad Petty didn't step away from the track before he dragged his family name through the grease and mud!
Seeing Dale Jarret win would be a little slice of heaven!

If you like Kyle Petty your username is appropriate. What do you like about him as a driver? I do like him as a commentator.
Don't get your drawers in a knot little feller! I didn't know I had to explain everything I posted to you! Sorry!
Crazy Coot,
My drawers are just fine thank you, I was actually serious about what you liked about Petty as a driver. I have not paid much attention to him as a driver and like I said I do enjoy him as a commentator. I thought I might be missing something about his driving.
You don't have to explain everything that you post to me, it was just conversation, and you do not have to apologize either.
Cheers CrazyOldCoot!
