Is anyone towing a 2008 Honda Civic 4-wheels down? If so, does it require a lube pump? Please elaborate. Thank you.

No lube pump, driveshaft disconnect, or axle lock available for them and they can't be towed four down without voiding the warranty. It already happened to someone that towed his auto Civic, trans went out and Honda denied warranty coverage.

On edit: I think it was a 2006 Civic.

We traded our 2006 Civic for a CRV. Could figure out no safe way to tow the Civic, 4 down, without the factory saying no warrentee(sp).

Thanks. That wasn't the answer I was looking for but was the answer I feared was true. Who makes the driveshaft disconnect system?

Check out Remco

We used one on our 2WD Durango when we had it. It worked great but I sure am glad to have a "simple" car to tow now.
