I recently filled my propane tank up, $30.00 for a 30 lb tank.I purchased a baby Q grill for the convenience of cooking (I love to cook on the grill) may have to resort to cooking on the fire again. Bad enough the fuel costs of getting somewhere, but to set up camp and eat sandwiches just doesn't sound like camping.

lets think about this a little? When we say camping what does it mean? wasn't camping a way to rough it away from everything and everyone. Now adays we seem to take everything including the kitchen sink when we all go camping. We take all the comforts of home. Not that I disagree with you but it seem that the way we seem to think. I know in my own situation when I started It was just a tent and what ever I could carry. Now that I'm little better off I went from tent ,to trailer , to motorhome.I enjoy the luxury but It amazes me when I see someone pulling a 20ft trailer behind a rig or a fifth pulling a boat behind a truck. We just cant seem to leave anything behind and do with what little we have. It seems to be more and more we want.. JMHO...lol

Filled my 30# LP tank last Friday. $30 here.

Have to get my 20# exchanged before next weekend...we use it for the our Weber BabyQ, the turkey fryer (used for Corn on the cob, steamed shrimp, etc and not so much for frying anymore)as well as my buddies grill. We have a tee fitting that allows us to use two appliances off the same tank.

Well a program last night said propane gas is refined from crude oil as well as gasoline and deisel, So this summer I'd expect a big jump in propane prices as dealers have to refill their bulk tanks.

Yeah, our last trip cost us $100.00 to fill up the pickup with Diesel and 30 bucks to fill up the propane tank

It's all trickling down, groceries have really gone up too. Especially rice and flour.

Given the prices of firewood in most campgrounds, propane is a bargain. Local prices for LPG track gasoline & diesel almost exactly.
