If I am at a seasonal campground with full hookups, is there any reason why I would want to run my TV through the inverter?? Would it not be better to just run it directly to a house plug and save the inverter for when it's actually needed.

Thanks!

No. The inverter is only needed when you are not hooked up to 120 volts ac.

The inverter, depending on its features, will protect your electronics from low-voltage conditions.

Just use the wall outlet. In many cases the inverter is blocked when you are plugged into campground power.
