We will be stopping in Naples mid-June to visit family for a couple of days and are looking for a park that is no fuss. (not a resort) We are State Park type campers. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Collier-Seminole state park is right there south of Naples. We haven't camped there. Oscar Scheerer we have camped at and it was fine but it's a bit further north as is Myakka. We have camped at probably 40 or 50 Florida State parks and I can honestly say that only one was sub standard. That was Blackwater up in the panhandle. And I think the problem with that park was the fact that they hired a couple of college kids to run the park during the summer and they were doing a very poor job of cleaning up.
So Collier-Seminole should be a safe bet:

I've stayed at Collier-Seminole before. It's not my favorite state park, but it's decent. I understand they've done renovations to the campground since I've been there last - the sites used to be right on top of each other. It's a great place for canoeing - they have canoe rentals on site. The bathrooms there are in need of updating, but they were kept relatively clean. All sites have electric and water. Hope this helps.

Just North of Naples on US 41 is Koreshan State Park which is located on the Estero River. There is canoe and kayak rental for the Estero River. Real pretty place.

We used to live in Naples and I have to say that unless Collier-Seminole really has changed, I wouldn't stay there unless it was my only choice. We stayed there a couple times and we were in there like sardines and there were a couple loud groups both times.
Koreshan State Park became our favorite local campground and unless things have changed, its got lots of trees between most of the sites. The down side is that quite a few were too small.
Re-reading this, I'm not sure I was helpful. Enjoy your stay - It'll be hot there in mid-June!

I found one called Kountree Kampinn RV Resort. It's within the Naples area and from the arial view it looks O.K. Lots of trees. Our main camping/RV experience will be at Long Key State Park, our only reason for stopping in Naples is to visit a relative.
We are also staying at Silver Springs State Park in Ocala on the front end of the trip (more relatives). That came from a recommendation from someone on this site.
Thanks to all of you, planning this two week trip in FL has been made easier.

Kountry Kampinn is a very wooded campground with smaller sites and somewhat narrow roads. It is on a very busy divided highway (RT 951) that is being widened. There is a lot of development along the road, some of it adjacent to the north side of the campground. Lot's of traffic & construction noise.
Check out the reviews for the Naples campgrounds http://www.rvparkreviews.com/regions/Florida/Naples.html
You may want to consider Neapolitan Cove. This campground changed owners a few years ago and has been totally upgraded. This is not a resort like Pelican Lake, but it is very nice.
It is on a main road (US 41) but the traffic is nothing like that on 951. It is not a state park like campground but it is very convenient to anything in the Naples area.
Paradise Pointe is also a nice RV park.
Any RV park in or convenient to Naples is going to be expensive.
Be prepared for hot, humid weather in June.
Silver Springs State Park in Ocala is nice.

The OP was very specific in not wanting anything that approached a resort and other than the fact that KK has the word 'resort' in its name, the OP will get her wish at KK.

I wouldn't stay at Collier-Seminole in June. The skeeters will have a field day with you. I'd stay at Koreshan.
