Ok, I am about to dewinterize my Puma TT. Let see if I got the steps right...
1. Leave the bypass closed... Put in the metal rod in the hot water heater tightly...
2. Open all lines and let the pink stuff go out... by running water through the fresh water tank. until it is clear...
3. Close lines and then I think this year I want to add some bleach to the tank and let it run through the lines... I know only a 1/4 cup. Let it sit a hour or so and then flush the lines.. Once this is done
4. Now is it time to open the bypass valve and let the heater fill.

Ok, there it is.. tell me if my steps are right or need a little rearranging... Or if they are totally different.. This is my first year to winterize it myself and I think we did it right and this is the first time for us to de-winterize what we did...

I know I can get some great advice here... Thank you!!!

I blow out the lines to get the A/F out, then run clear water thru the lines to get rest of A/F out, install heater drain plug, close the bypass, fill freshwater (FW) tank with water/ bleach, run pump until I smell bleach at each faucet and then let it sit for at least an hour and then run more water thru the lines until FW tank is empty.

Sounds ok, but I do a bit more. Here's my list;

1. Check/clean demand pump filter screen.
2. Check/clean air conditioner filter
3. Un-bypass HWH (handle horizontal), connect TT to house water.
4. Remove HWH drain plug (7/8”), flush HWH, install drain plug.
5. Completely Fill, then Drain, then Fill to 1.5 marks, the fresh water tank.
6. Flush all water lines, hot and cold.
7. Verify demand pump works.
8. Check tire pressures, put to 35 psi, remember to check spare.
9. Check lug nut (13/16”) torque is 92 ft #
10. Check battery water.
11. Turn on both Propane tanks.
12. Install Propane alarm fuse and Smoke detector battery.
13. Verify the following work on propane; stove, water heater, furnace, and refrigerator.
14. Torque Equalizer drawbar bolts (15/16”) to 46 ft# with bars in loosest position.
15. Verify Intercoms and flashlight have batteries.
16. Empty waste tanks into house toilet.
17. Put peanut oil (valve lube) in toilet, and 1 cup in each waste tank.
18. Add 1 gallon water in black, and say a quart in sink drain.
19. Lube stabilizer jacks with chain lube.

#4 in particular. I always notice some scale breaking loose and draining from Hot water tank anode plug hole. Draining through that is the only way I know to get it out.

That looks like a good checklist to use.
