I am now looking into a 2004 Jayco 19H. We decided against the bigger hybrids do to towing with a GMC Acadia.
There is one in our area that is, in my opinion, way overpriced but is in very good shape and after looking I think I will make an offer. They are currently asking $13000. They did the NADA guide with adding a lot of options that are usually included in the price and were not even options on their invoice. The NADA with only a couple of options that I can agree with is low $7,000 and average $8500. Those are supposed to be retail prices.
So my questions are:
What is a good fair price?
Any problems with a 19H?
There are a few little yellow marks (I can't call the spots) on the roof by the AC and a seam. They almost look like paint or glue. Is this a problem?

I bet you could get a 2008 for $16,000 or less.
$9-$10 max on a '04. Be sure to check for any signs of water leakage/damage.
You may or may not be happy towing a 4000lb HTT with an Acadia. I would advise a friend not to, but there are some who tow at max loads and say they have no problems. Take a test tow first if you can.

It's 4 years old and will need all new tires next year. I'd go about $8K or $9K.

I purchased a 2006 Keystone Zeppellin 19 HTT for 13,500 which included the four year warrenty on it. The warrenty just covered a 200 microwave, so far I am ahead of the game. Ours has a lot of features we did not see on other HTT units. My wife really like the fact that it has the upgraded drapes, curtains and fancier look to it. Before us, our unit was only towed twice once to the orginal owner's site and back to the dealership by the RV dealership.
I think the price is a little high, although RVs are in high demand right now, so the prices are going to be a little higher than expected. We bought ours on President's Day weekend in March on a big sale the RV dealership was having, I think the orginal price was 15,500 which was high.
Have fun looking!

$7000 to $8000 would seem more than fair for a 4-year old 19H. If I remember correct, when we were shopping in 2006 I could have bought a BRAND NEW 2006 Jayco 19H for around $12,500 from my local dealer.
Is this trailer for sale by a private party or at a dealer?

It is a private party sale so no dealer to back it up. The dealer we bought our used popup from backed it up with a year on the leaks and the appliances. I talked to the sellers last night and they are willing to go down to $10K. I still think that is way to high I was thing more like $7K or maybe up to $8K. Does that seem reasonable?

$10,000 still seems way too high. If it is REALLY nice I might be willing to go to $8500 but that would be my max offer. Some people just paid way too much for their trailers and need a large amount to get out of them. I saw it all the time when we were shopping.
Lots of other 19' hybrids out there, so passing on this one if you don't like the price wouldn't be the end of the world.

A fully loaded 2009 (Two Thousand Nine) Roo 19 will run you lunch money over $13,000 if you're willing to take a 3 hour drive to RVWholesalers.
Will have a full warranty, beds that haven't been slept in, etc...
A 2004 can be five (5) years old and sitting out in the weather for this long.
