oh irish where did you find that? i must have one.

no it never ends. did your wife ever stop buying stuff for the house.

you have to ask yourself, do i have a wife that stuffs every corner and kraney with "stuff" fills the walls with "decor"
or
do i have a wife thats still filling those nooks and kraneys with "stuff and "decor"

plus you just wait, its the one up game once you hit the campground. the grill has to be bigger then the next guys. you will run and buy things too once you have the i need to catch up to the man club itch too.

we just happened to get a head start by a little bit. the rest of these guys are way ahead of us.

There is always something else to buy...the trick is being self sufficient with what youve got. The DW loves getting something new to add.....now we have a 4ft walleye pillow to adorn our bed....even at Bass pro shops she will find stuff we didn't have before.

Muddy - Believe it or not, I bought it at the local KMart. And you're right on all accounts. He who has the biggest/most toys wins!!!

Getting all the goodies is the best part!!! Where else but camping can a 5-foot tall lighted palm tree become a "necessity" Yep, I just bought one a couple of weeks ago...it was on sale...I think I'm ready for one of those meetings you all were talking about!!

you have to tell the DW that the lighted palm trees come in 7' and 2' also... no one should have just one... makes for a nice grouping...

lighted palm trees they can be found much cheaper than this though...

Leverage, the more DW buys for the TT the more accessories you get for the TV, no questions asked. Just say "Sure Honey, we really need the K&N and the chip for the truck, it's an investment you know!!"

CW knows me by site. I just leave my credit card with them so the Boss With The Hot Sauce can order what ever she needs.

K, I lied...I need one more thing, a 2" receiver welded to the frame so I can put my $250 bike carrier on the TT. The hitch and having it welded will cost me $350.

What do you people do for a living?? Can't you just throw your bikes into the bed of your truck? Does it all have to "match?" Oh, I'm guilty, but that was back when we moved from tents to a popup, and I felt it was my duty as a woman to make that thing comfy and attractive. Hit the local SprawlMart and spent about $250 on plastic, sheets, etc. Then when we got the TT, the only thing I really spent extra on were queen sheets, (down from a king) and a few throw rugs and new towels, oh, and a new under the awning mat, to you know, keep the damn thing clean, and, oh yeah, a slide topper, needed a small vaccuum, more pans, 'cause we have an oven, ice cube trays, because we have a freezer, a new hair dryer that I'm able to leave in the trailer. The solar lights were cheap, and I really do want hubby to get a generator. This was a sickening post!!!!!

This is a hoot. Yep I'm "all in". When I had a pop-up I had to have the BAL Single Axle leveler (instead of boards), I had to have my solar covers for the bunkends, tacky light clips, and a $700 Yakima bike rack. Now that I've graduated to the TT nothing has changed. In addition to my 5' lighted plam tree, I'm the same guy who combined my birthday and Father's Day gifts and told the DW to buy me a power tongue jack for the TT 'cause I get all sweaty from cranking that old jack up and down.
