Just a warning to thoes planning to camp at the Jellystone Park in Manuta, Ohio...

Lock it up...
Hide it...
Chain it down...

I was told that the CG will no longer have any type of security inside the park during the day or night.

Morgan Management who owns the park will not comment on the issue.
Over the last few times we stayed there, The park has gotten really cheap.. no lifeguards at the pool or lake.. trash everywhere.. Aweful dirty restrooms.. Security gates wide open for anyone to come in.. Our neighbors had there propane tanks stolen, And he was told that it was common for the people in the trailer park next door to come over and take what they please. It was never like that in the past.

We watched 3 kids no older then 11 years old take a golf cart from someone elses campsite and race around. When we called the front desk to report it.. I was told there is noone there to check it out..

You have been warned...

Everyone else liked it. Of course, things can change quickly.
Anyone else been there?

Been there several times and never had any of the problems that you mention. Always have seen lifeguards and never heard of any property being stolen. I do agree, the bathrooms could be cleaner, but we rate this as one of our favorite campgrounds. We will be there Memorial Day Weekend. Hope it hasn't changed.

Update: Just returned from Jellystone. Park very busy as it was Memorial Day Weekend. I noticed the new uniforms on the employees, and I have to say, I was impressed with how the CG was run during an extremely busy time. Restrooms were clean, trashed picked up at your site several times a day, Eleven pm quite time respected by most. Overall, an enjoyable experience. Camperguy2001, sorry for the bad experience. I have noticed, that when a CG changes owners, it takes a little while to work out all the kinks. We will be back.

I agree stayed there LAST WEEKEND (MEMORIAL Day) crowded but all went well!!

Have never been there before but was pleased with stay other than all the vehicle travel up and down the roads.
