Heading down tomorrow to beat the Memorial weekend crazies.
Should be really nice (which is awesome as the last few trips have been riding during breaks in the rain)

nwcutie, on one of our trips to Oregon we had visited Golden and Silver Waterfalls.Its located west of Coos Bay and make for a nice day trip,we did stay overnite out there.

Heads up NWcutie
This weekend is the Rhododendron Festival in Florence. On of the best parades in the NW. All of Old Town Florence is FULL if motorcycles (mostly Harleys) The event goes Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
I (2-10-05) bought a 2002 F350 CC SWD PSD and a new 2003 Citation 10'8. Rancho 9000X & Toyo M55's.I have been a tent camper all my life. I wanted more comfort while doing my Willamette Backcountry Ski Patrol & Crater Lake Ski Patrol duties.11

ORbiker, I had forgotten about the Rhodie festival - I took my convertible 65 impala about 10 years ago when my grandparents still lived in Florence - had a blast. Guess I'll take 38 over instead of 126 then.

we are leaving to coos bay in the morning (fri morn). We will be @ Tugman state park fri - sun, then spinreel for a week of riding the sand!

We are at horsfall beach. We are on two predators - I have an SLD flag - the bf doesn't yet (can't get my other one on a firestick - too tight)
We will be leaving in about a half-hour - the bf is heading home now. We plan on coming up to spinreel for ice cream!

I was over there but, rode at winchester went over Thursday night. Friday was scorching hot on the dunes!

Had a great time! Quads ran great, only 1 get-off (not mine  )
Note to self, when you zip the bottom of your riding pants off to make shorts, remember the sunblock!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about a funny sunburn between the shorts and top of the boots - sheesh.
