Homemade. Used 6x6 landscaping ties, cut them with a chainsaw at an angle. I usually carry 4 with me... If I don't need to chock both sides, they are large enough to use under the tongue jack, under the stabilizers, or whatever else comes up.
These were just going to be "temporary", but starting 5th season and I still use them.

Rotochoks, nothing else. And congrats on your purchase of a Cedar Creek.

We use the yellow ones from Camping World, but in the boondocks we still use firewood. Firewood doesn't look too pretty, but it is convenient, cheap, and in a pinch can be used for your campfire.......
Just got our Roto chocks in last week for our first trip. DH was skeptical at first but after the trip he said he LOVED them! Talked to Pearl on the phone for 20 minutes just chating after I ordered. Just like everyone on here had said - she is soooo nice! Next purchase will be JT strongarms!

If your only concern is to keep your 5er from rolling away, the plastic wedges will work for you. However, if you also want to stop the movement inside your 5er, then I suggest using the BAL Deluxe Tire Locking Chocks between each set of tires. (As you’ve seen, others swear by the Roto-Choks, which I’m sure work well also.) Before I got these, I used the plastic wedges, but when I made the switch, the movement in my 5er was eliminated. I was amazed how well they worked.
I just got my Roto-chocks and they work great.Like others said,no need to spend the money if all your trying to prevent is to keep your camper from rolling away.I put the JT's on a month ago and now w/the Roto-chocks my fifth wheel does'nt move,I'm very pleased w/both products. Also the customer service from both places incredible.
