Hi all, In a few weeks I will be traveling with my cat into Canada for about 10 days, and then re-entering the U.S. with her. I'm sure people do this all the time. Can someone tell me what papers I will need to get her into Canada, and then what ones I will need to get her back into the U.S. again? Anything I should be aware of about this process?
A current, signed Health Certificate - your vet has the forms. It lists the vaccinations and rabies vacconaitns dates. We crossed the borders 7 times on one trip and were never asked for it, but better safe than sorry!
As I recall if dog even remotely looks like a Pit Bull, DO NOT go into Ontario. I think that is where they steal your dog, legally. Google it to be sure.

The ONLY requirement for transporting dogs across the border and back is proof of RABIES vaccination. Puppies under 4 months of age are exempt from this.
