On our way to Wyoming we will be stopping to see friends in Janesville. Is there a campground nearby? I'm not having any luck with Google. Thanks

A couple towns not far away have private CGs. RVparkreviews lists Hickory Hills in Edgerton and Hidden Valley RV Resort in Milton. Haven't been to either, reviews are spotty. There's also Lake Kegonsa SP a ways north of there, off I-90; no hookups but a pleasant park and has showers. If you're going to be there on a weeknight, shouldn't be a problem finding a site; weekends might be tough as this is a park with reservable campsites.

Just went to the CG in Milton, very nice campground but pricey, probably will cost around 50 for full hookup.

Its been a long time since I've been to Hickory Hills. I hope its changed, but our last two experiences there were not good ones. We haven't been back since. Between the vandelism and stereo wars that took place on both occasions, we just couldn't see paying the price to stay there.

Lake Kegonsa is nice....I haven't camped there but the park itself is very nice.

Ottawa Lakes in the Kettle Morraine SF isn't far, I've camped there -very nice.

You might want to try www.tldirectory.com for the Trailer Life Directory of campgrounds.

Where are you headed to in Wyoming? If you were taking 90 out and not looking to stay right in Janesville, you've got a ton of cptions along the interstate to the Dells.

I'd see about contacting either Mrs.Mik (from here on this site and also owns RVing Outpost in Abbottsford, WI), OR Janesville RV in Janesville, WI.
