We (my wife and I) have a Roadtrek Adventurous diesel (06). The ride is OK so will airbags significantly inmprove handling and ride? I do sometimes pull a small trailer with a golf cart.

Really Necessary?

No, but they are one of the best upgrades I've added. I get significantly less roll around corners, and being able to raise or lower one side of the van 4 inches opens up a plethora of uneven parking spots. As I write this I've got 95 psi in one and zero in the other and am sitting acceptably level. If I did not have these bags I could not comfortable camp here, with out driving the tires up on something.

As far as the ride, at 5 psi I can't tell they are there unless I hit a big bump or dip. Over 50 and she's pretty stiff, rear passengers would find it uncomfortable, but I never have any.

I usually drive with 20 psi drivers' side , 12-14 psi passenger, as I have more weight on one side than the other.

I put the schrader valves inside the van, I can raise or lower the van from bed if I want.
