Does anyone know if there is room or provisions for a 12V battery in
a 2003 bronco 600
friend has recently purcahsed this model camper and cannot locate any wiring for a battery hook up.
the camper does have a 12 converter so we assume it has a spot for a battery but are not having any luck finding the battery hook up wiring
thanks in advance

I have an 08 1251SB Bronco and it did not come with a battery. If you want a battery, have to buy one and use seperatly. Dealer made up a power cord for me. Has the seven plug on one end that plugs into the camper and the other end has two aligator clips to attach to the battery which you sit on the ground. When the battery runs down , have to recharge it. The camper also does not have a relay to disconnect camper from truck battery so I was advised by service dept. at dealer to unplug the camper from the truck's battery when at the campground or when boondocking. Camper will draw from truck battery when even plugged into shore power. In some cases I just unplug camper from truck and use battery operated laterns. I usually go to bed when dark and get up when light out. Whatever suits your needs. Good Luck.
I have a Bronco 1200...it did not have any internal wiring for battery power, but I installed battery wiring/power with an inverter...not sure what the floorplan layout is on the 600, but in the 1200, I put the battery box next to the fresh water tank, and have it vented outside on the port side of the camper.
I have 1998 B1200. I put a Group 27 in a battery box in front of the wheel well on the driver side. Mine has access through the side door in the camper, I cut a 2X6 to fit on the truck floor cut to fit the tapper of the wheel well so I had a flat place.
Mine has a socket on the front of the camper to plug into the truck, I made up a cable to plug into that and run into the wheel well to the battery. I setup the battery box with a small pushbutton breaker and a float charger. With all LED lighting and other power conservation mods I can go 10 days plus with out going below 50% charge So I don't have it setup to charge going down the road. I just plug in the float charger when needed or I have opportunity to.
