Hello,

I am trying to find the smallest window A/C unit made. I have a very small window opening 15"W x 12"H...anyone have any ideas?

I presume you are wanting to mount it in you RV. The smallest units I've installed were 5000 BTU window units that just may come under that sizing. You won't notice much cooling from those in a B.

This Sear model is around 11 X 18 for example

You may want to look into a rooftop or portable unit, but they are certainly more expensive.

Hmm... width may be a problem.

I'm probably gonna use a 6,000 btu Frigidaire....

they list 2 models at 5,000 btu (their smallest) and show the width to be 15 1/2" and height at 11 2/5".

Hi,
We had a home converted camper on a short wheelbase Ford van. We had a 5000 BTU a/c mounted in the tall top, and it was inadequate in hot weather. Our unit was pretty well insulated, and smaller than the average B. I would suggest you not go any smaller than 7500 BTU if you are going to be where the weather is hotter that 75 deg F.
