Just imagine how much more noble (and more room) it would be if those were dirt bikes instead of those quads.
I did the dirt bike thing for a short while, never go used to the twist throttle part. I still have hardware in my left knee because of the lean factor you get with a dirt bike. ATV's don't naturally have that variable. I can ride an ATV really well in just about any terrain, not so much with a dirt bike.
I'd say you gave dirt bikes the ol' college try... Stick with the quads!

I like and ride both, dirtbikes and atv's, but I preferr my atv's with 3 wheels, not 4.
Since you asked....LOL. I was full timing for a little over 6 years traveling for work from coast to coast. Had a great time and really liked the life style....Medical problems force me off the road and into bed for two years...when I was up and about, I felt that I need to get something a little easier to deal with....Went looking for a smaller 5th wheel but got side tracked and started to look over the Lance Camper selection. Decided that the TC was the way to go since I thought it would be used for camping and fishing (towing boat) etc.
Got the model with all the accessories I needed and 1 slide. It was roomy and I really enjoyed camping in it. Well my best laid plans went a little astray....got asked to go to for a company and do a little traveling....just got back from my first work camping trip. Traveled from Omaha, NE to Anniston AL....Had a great trip with the TC a lot easier to get through towns, etc. Living in the unit was all that I expected...a little cozy after 37 feet of living space before but I had all that I needed.... The move to down size may not be for everyone, but it seems to have been a good move for me.....

Your siggy shows two of the best ATC, and dirt bike combo to own. Even better, put the CR500 plant into the ATC frame.
Some day if I have extra money and find a junker atc250r and a donor bike for the 500 motor, I wouldn't mind building an ATC500R. I don't wanna give up my 2 nice originals for that project though.
I like your TRX250R, the best 2-stroke quad ever made, and the only quad I would like to own. That one would be a great candidate for 500R conversion too!

A few of my reoccurring thoughts on not making this move is exterior storage and interior lounging room. My current setup has ample of both plus I can load up my truck bed if I need too.
I see advantages and disadvantages (what's new?) to this and would really like some input from you guys.
While it wasn't a TT we did go from a 28' Class A to a TC. We did so to allow us to get much further away from the crowds then we could in the A.
The smaller interior space of the TC isn't really a problem since we spend most of our time outside and only use the TC for sleeping, cooking and the bathroom.

Well, just got back from the dealer. We bought a new Host Yellowstone 11.5. I only wanted the 9.5 Rainier but my DW went for the larger unit. I like it too, very nice and roomy. I have about 10 days before I pick it up, won't make the Memorial Day trip but thats ok.
There was a bit of back and fourth at the dealers but I think we got a nice deal even after taking a hit on the Warrior.
Thanks for all the input and help.

The guys at Sprad's were getting tired of me stopping in and never making an offer on one. I was all over the board looking at 5ers, TCs and other trailers but when the wife gave the ok I jumped all in.
