Seeing those pics of Garden Valley is making me drool. It's such a beautiful area, as is so much of our great state. We are just dying to get the MH out and go to the Idaho mountains and get out of the valley. Bet you had a great time with your beautiful family!

Even though I'll have to forgive you for using Nikon (I'm a Canon shooter myself), you have the same focal length lens I have on my Dig Rebel xTi. I love the 18mm wide angle end of the lens - gives photos a unique perspective, especially up close. Enjoy!

The only thing I didn't like about that camp ground was the mosquito's that came out at dusk...

I thought alaska's state bird was the mosquiteo? Alaska mosquito's make these little fellows look cute and cuddly! I spent 21 years fighting those bastards off in alaska (kenai/soldotna) and while the mosquitos here can be annoying, at least you can see thru a swarm of them!
