Our first of the year trip is this weekend and we are camping on the old abandoned Pennsylvania Turnpike east of Breezewood (FREE) from Saturday to Tuesday then Caledonia SP, Wednesday - Friday then once again at the abandoned Turnpike for a Friday night (FREE). Coming home Saturday. Exploring some of the underbelly beneath the Pennsylvania Turnpike as a hobby to look for sights like this added photo to see if this sight still exists.

Old South Pennsylvania Railroad works that the turnpike used. I believe this to be the south view at the 177.0 mile post and more on the south or east bound turnpike alignment. East is to the right.

Pomme de Terre Missouri. Leaving wednesday for 6 days. Our camping friends went to the dark side, 30' TT, all the bells and whistles. We used to look like bookends with our 97 Colemans. Now we'll look like the Beverly hillbillies, them in the California digs, us in the shack.

We are. This will be our first for the season. Bought a new house after retiring from the Navy last year and have not had time for much. Pulled the camper out of the garage Saturday and gave it a wash then opened her up. Can not wait. The weather here in Southern MD looks to be perfect.

Let us know how this park is. I heard it's newly renovated and appears to be fairly nice.
