We are planning a trip out to Vegas and have heard so much of all the luxury RV Resort campgrounds. Can anyone share an experience or recommend a good resort. Would appreciate any feedback, Thank you.
We've stayed at both the Oasis RV Resort and the Circus Circus before it changed to a KOA. We prefer the Oasis. Rates start at 39 dollars a day during the summer. All their sites are good sites with back-ins, pull-throughs, close to clubhouse and pool.
For us it is a great getaway from the strip. The pool was a great evening activity. We were there both times during the summer.
qtla, your pics made me wanna go back to Vegas! We stayed at Oasis last summer. We were supposed to be there just 2 nights, but DH got really sick with pneumonia and we ended up staying a week. The staff was wonderful, even pointed us to the ER when we needed it. Poor DH! He didn't have much fun,but it wasn't their fault. His memories of Oasis consist of chills, fever, and chicken soup. The kids & I had a marvelous time at the pool--it really is just soooo nice.

Sorry to hear the DH didn't get to enjoy and I hope you get to go back. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. They had great internet service, ice cream party every afternoon and we met great people around the pool.
Also, we like to do rig inspections and that usually takes place in the early evening with a cool beverage in hand . We saw everything from a 13ft Scamp to a converted bus loaded with solar that the owner claimed he could run a/c.
It was hot, but hanging out in the casinos really makes up for it. We went to the Sunday buffet at Monte Carlo, went to mass at a Catholic church that couldn't have been found anywhere else but Vegas. It was interesting because the priest locked out the late comers only to let them in 15 minutes later with a tongue lashing. Too funny.
Can't wait to go back but for us it is almost a 3000 mile round trip for us. Yikes!
If you want to stay at a truly five star resort try the Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort. It is part of the Outdoor Resorts of America system. Their website is www.lasvegasmotorcoachresort.com It is a little pricey, but to me its worth the money. My daughter lives in Vegas so we always take our motorhome when we visit and we stay here. On one of our trips, the wife and I drove the toad to every RV park in Vegas. The second best would be the Oasis. All the rest are like being in a parking lot with hookups.

I stayed at the Outdoor resort it is really nice. They were giving away 5 free nights on there web site. Would not have stayed there for the $80 a night they charge.(I wouldn't stay any where I had to pay $80 a night)
You can usually get a deal with Outdoor Resorts (Class A only) - their current offer is 25% off your entire stay. With taxes that's $61 a night - compare that to Oasis whose 'Premium' sites (and I can't see what's Premium about them!) are $53 and $59 at weekends (inc tax) AND you have to pay for the WiFi (OR is free and fast) then it's a great deal. It is a really nice first class RV park.
