I recently purchased a new (used) Weekend Warrior 5th wheel and received one set of keys to the door and outside compartments. While setting up, I dropped the set and promptly ran them over with the lawn mower. Anybody got any suggestions?

Two opions:
1. Buy new locksets (complete door "handles"), or
2. Remove the locksets an take them to a locksmith hoping they cn make new keys.
My gues is that #2 will either be too expensive or a locksmith will not be able to make keys.

There isn't a whole lot of combinations of keys to the compartments. Talk to an RV dealer first. What was left after the lawnmower hit them? The numbers on the keys should still be identifiable?

The outside compartments on all tt's use the same key - CH 751. I have about 10 extra of these, I can send you one if you want. I had a bad door lock on my WW and ordered a new door handle with lock directly from WW for about $60 a few years ago. The new handle came with 2 new keys.

My son bought a used trailer from his uncle and it had no kys. Most of the newer locks have a number inside so you can get keys from the mfgr. His didn't so we took the lock to our local locksmith and he made a key for $15 plus two extras for $1.50 each. A total of $18 for three keys with no original to copy from. We thought that was very reasonable. Dave

I bought a new door handle for my Rage'n for $30-40 from the manufacturer with two sets of keys. The side compartments are all CH751's on most trailers. Good Luck.

Remove the Lock cover on the inside of the door and there will be an 800# for the Company that makes the Locks- there is also a Code for that lock- just give them the code and they will send you as many Keys as you want
hmmm I wonder how I know this I use Combination Locks on my Ramp.

Camping World stocks most of the handles/Locks so if you need to use it right away try CW.

Drive the rig to s locksmith and they will be able to make a new key by sticking a soft blank in it and filing down the notches. It will take less than 5 minutes.
Don't ask how I know:-)
