just worndering where is everyone going for the long weekend of may 23 .I book at the red counut in ft myers beach 1 st time outthere with the rv. Has any body been there before.

not going anywhere near Fl. Only because Im a 20 hour drive from Fl. I am going to the local CG we are member/owners at in Cuba, Mo. We will be there the next 3 weekends.

Same spot we went last year. A boondocking spot just a few minutes drive from a popular lake and wilderness trailhead. The CG at the lake will be packed full of kids, loose dogs, loud stereos, ATV's and whatnot. We will be in solitude, alone and quiet in the evenings, and we will drive up to the lake for the day's adventures.

We are headed to woodstock nh. The Broken Branch KOA is out destination and we can't wait for the first trip of the season. Hopefully the weather will be good!

I suspect if you don't have reservations you won't be going any where in FL, not near the beach anyway.
We are camping on the Suwannee this weekend but staying home that weekend.

We are leaving next Wednesday the 21st for the following: Valley of Fire SP in Nevada, Grand Canyon North Rim campground (Sunday and Memorial Day), Goblin Valley SP in Utah, Arches NP Utah, and Utah Lake SP with a stop in Winnamucca NV to break up the trip home. 12 days, sure to be too short.. Reservations everywhere except Valley of Fire which is first come.
BTW, they opened Hwy 67 to the North Rim today!! Hooray!!
