I suspect if you don't have reservations you won't be going any where in FL, not near the beach anyway.

We are camping on the Suwannee this weekend but staying home that weekend.

BK

Same here as BK...staying home during the holiday and heading to the Suwannee this weekend....Manatee Springs.....

Enjoy everyone...

Headed down the shore, to Frontiertown. It's only about 70 miles from home, so travel is easy. Except that everyone else from Maryland, Northern Virginia, and PA will be headed to the beach this weekend too. At least we don't have to sit in traffic on the Chesapeake Bay bridge anymore, and we do know a few backroads. Have a terrific holiday weekend.

We are going to leave on the 24th and drive to the Badlands National Park and stay for one night and then on to the Black Hills near Custer for a week. This will be the longest trip with this size trailer for us. It is our 30th anniversary and we wanted to do something special. I have pulled a popup this far a few times but not a 27 footer. We have a new truck and a new TT so should be alot of fun.

Georgetown Tx to visit some dear friends and to watch their two daughters star in a play. Not camping so much this trip as we are "taking our hotel with us."

Wow, everyone has some great plans! We are headed to a little county park called Baylor Regional Park. The Minnesota Astronomical Society has an observation site here, with a couple of really, REALLY big telescopes on site. There is a nice, big grassy area to set up your own telescopes.

We're bringing our 8" Dobsonian telescope. We're hoping for clear, dark skies and a couple of great evenings of stargazing!

Everyone have FUN!

Excellent! Last year we spent a couple of nights at Cathedral Gorge SP in Nevada and a group like yours from Las Vegas was there. We had never seen this before, so we wandered over and they were all great! They were anxious to show us planets and galaxies and show off their knowledge and equipment. It was amazing.. Great group and made for a wonderful time. (I had never seen the rings around Saturn before..)

Have a great time, I hope the skies are crystal clear for you.
