We live in Texas and tried to make reservations last week for a few state parks and they were already booked up. We are going to go a few days after the holiday.

Yes, going to Nebraska (my Mom is getting married - widowed 10 years) for the weekend and then up to the Black Hills of SD for the week of memorial day. Going to be a lot of family meeting us up there for a mini-reunion, should be lots of fun and good to see family we haven't seen in years. We're staying at Rafter J campground in Hill City SD.

Far Horizons 49er Village RV Resort in Plymouth California, the "GOLD COUNTRY". Gonna play some golf as well on this trip. We may be picking a new rig on Thursday, that would be nice. Everyone have a good holiday weekend.

Yes! My family (and 2 dogs) are going to Emporia, VA to the Jellystone. We are meeting my in-laws down there and have been doing so since my wife and I got married. She grew up going to that campground. The campground was just sold to new owners and from the sounds of things this may be our LAST trip there. If anyone else is going there drop by! We will have the bright white (still new Jayco 28BHS) pulled by a blue GMC VortecMax.

I know what ya'll mean about state parks in TX being booked. We picked up the new Jayco last month, and planned on Memorial wknd being the first trip. I looked online, and realized that all reservable sites were booked. Hubby went this morning before work and got the LAST walk up site on Lake of the Pines in East TX. It is only 45 min. from home. I'm just relieved he got a site. What happened to gas prices slowing down RV trips? There were tons of sites left for 4th of July last year....guess folks have "Spring Fever". I know we do. Anyone else going to Lake of the Pines?

Just got back from Topsail but plan on being on Table Rock Lake Thursday at Cape Fair COE - the water is so high most of the campground and boat ramps are flooded

Heading for Reedsport/Winchester Bay, OR with six other rigs for their Memorial Day Marine Corp band concert and parade. We've been going up there for the past three years. Very nice area and a wonderful showing of community support for our armed forces.
