Does anyone have this trailer? I bought this trailer in 2005. My wife and I love it. The problem i am having is a water leak at the foot of the bed. Just under the window. I heard that this was a common problem with this TT. Is this true?
I believe we have the same TT as you, as ours is a 2005 Mallard. The two are manufactured by Fleetwood and from what I have seen are different in name and model number only. To answer your question we have had no issues with exterior leaks on out TT. The second year I resealed the outer edges at the seams with some good quality RV sealer and never had a problem. The factory seal was thin and just looked lake a headache waiting to happen. Just make sure you remove the old stuff and clean the area with mild soap before applying the new caulk. Good luck.
