Our daughters' best friend delivered their third daughter yesterday morning via C-section. 8 lb. 2 oz, 20 1/2" long, named Sarah Lynn.

Our daughter and and her friend have been together since Third Grade, they were both 9 years old. They are now 35, and have been through thick and thin. Our daughter never had a sister, just a brother and these two have developed a relationship that most people never accomplish in their lifetime. They both became Teachers, and are so much alike it is scary. We treat her as a family member, and her other two children call us "Gran and Bimp" also. They live about 100 miles away right now, but they will soon be moving back to our area so we can see them more often. Life is good sometimes...........

What great news, and congrtas! What do you think this baby will call you? If you think nana, or papa or any other grandparent name then your a grandparent.

Our only two natural granddaughters call us "Gran and Bimp". The oldest one tagged me with Bimp when she was learning to talk and it stuck. My wife has always been just "Gran", short and sweet. All of the others have naturally followed suit and we don't mind. We are guessing this is the tail end of the grands, our daughter stopped at two, no more. This "adopted daughter" is closing shop also, they were trying for a boy but it wasn't in the stars. Now we have five young ladies from the ages of 13, 9, 5, 2 and now 2 days old.

No pictures yet, they will be down for Memorial Day weekend and we can start spoiling her then.
