Just happend to daydream and in todays world there is a 2 page safety warning included in everything you buy. Every device carrys a safety warning.
The oldest safety message I can think of is: "Close cover before striking".

The warning labels in their present form started in the 70s? I say it had to do with one of those hair dryers...something about only using it when out of the shower.

Survey: Does anybody actually ever read a warning label? Or if you do read them, how many read them after you used the item only to find out you broke the safety rules?

The oldest safety warning was "Do not eat of the fruit of the tree in the center of the garden"
Now you should know that, also you should know where it was written.
Side note.. You should also know in which garden said prohibited tree grew.
Another telling of the same story was DO NOT OPEN THAT BOX
