HEY! It's not "cheating"! Let's call it:

Over-arching leveraging of tactical advantage over adverse conditions through global-thinking strategic plannning and forward-leaning logistical initiative!

A good life-lesson for the children! Besides, by calling it that, you would likely qualify for a Homeland Security Grant to pay for the canned goods, the gas to get you there, and the rocks to hide them under!

Cheat? Never! ........Although the thought has crossed our minds. Mom and I WILL win this fair and square. We have age and wisdom over the boys. I don't want to crush the boys, but would like to teach them a few of life's lessons. I believe it will be an educational experience for all of us.

The biggest life lesson they're going to learn from this - well, actually a few:

1. That mom and dad listen to them and take them seriously
2. That mom and dad are fun
3. That mom and dad are smarter than they thought

They will gain a whole new respect for you - gopher it! And just in case you DON'T win and they have their act together better than you do - be a great loser!

Last summer DS & his friend caught 5 little bream our of the lake at our campground. Friend's mom said if you clean them, we'll cook them over the campfire. We have pictures of the boys eating those little grilled (blackened) fish. I can only imagine what would have happened if I'd put a burnt piece of meat on his plate!!

the "loser" is the one that requires toilet paper instead of leaves...

That does sound like a fun idea. You should probably be prepared for pranks after dark...

Can I come?

Just watch out for the poison ivy. I've taken care of more than a few "boy scouts" who didn't know their leaves-of-three...oowww~
