It's considered bad etiquette to post asking questions and creating a dialogue then not come back to continue that dialogue. We were all "newbies" once. It wasn't personal...

Cool! And welcome. Of all the internet forums I've been on in the last 15 years, this is by far the best! The only one I think comes close (for Yamaha Star Riders) is the Delphi Road Star Forum. The information on this board, however, is phenominal. Even smart-alecks like me can offer up some pretty good advise every now and then.

Vapor_Trails,

Yes, I am a "Newbie" on this site, but didn't mean to be rude by not following up with the post. My FIL had a major Intestinal blockage and had to have emergency surgery earlier this week. I have been helping my DW with that. As of this morning, the trip is still up in the air. We should know by tomorrow morning. If you don't see me post this weekend, assume that we are on our survival trip.

And to answer your earlier post....we will take tackle, but will have to get creative regarding bait. I know of several spots where the night crawlers like to hangout.

becks1999,

Oh dear. I'm so sorry to hear that. Don't I feel like a schmuck. I will add your FIL to my thoughts and prayers. God bless.

Well how did it go?
I think it would be fun.
I have 2 boys 13 and 15.Both are boy scouts.
So we would have a blast doing this.
We might just try something close to that this summer.
