WELCOME BACK. There's no place like home,.....(except if it's where there's ice and snow and bitter cold)....
Keep in mind that pretty soon there will be a Cooper's BBQ place in New Braunfels.

Been following your threads - Glad you've hit the road and are now at a great campground.

We left Hot Springs, AR yesterday morning at 8:10 AM and drove to Canyon Lake, Texas - approx. 11.5 hrs.

One thing you need to learn yet. Is that at full time you can slow down.
For most seasoned full timers that trip would have been a 3 day trip.

We haven't slowed down since we got here - we've STOPPED! The reasons for the rush were these:

1. We had a 1 month reservatin at this campground that our friend is manager of and we don't plan on moving for probably 6 to 8 months. (Long story)

2. We had been waiting for 1.5 yrs. to get here and were in a hurry to BE here.

3. No generator and boondocking at Wally World without AC didn't appeal to us.

We would have made it in about 9 hrs. but for kitty.

I'm so happy for the both of you. I know you've been planning this for a long time. Like I enjoy saying to my DW - "Well Mother, Another Adventure."

Congratulations!!!
