I was adding a Maxx Air on the roof today and I noticed some small shallow cracks in the caulk filler. Is there a product to safley fill these areas? Maybe something in a small tube or for a caulk gun?

Check out Eternabond on Camping World's web-site. I've seen many threads on the forum regarding this issue. Try a search and you'll find tons of info. Good luck to ya!!

Yes, you can cap them with Eternabond or get some self-leveling lap sealant (this is what you'd apply with a caulk gun).

If you are going to use a caulk it has got to be Dicor. Amazing stuff. Don't touch it, just watch it level itself.

Has anyone used Eternabond on roof vents or other items that may have to be replaced at some time? Is it easy to remove or about the same as removing Dicor? I'm wondering how you would pull off the Eternabond on a vinyl roof with out destroying that area of the roof.

I was also wondering about Eternabond removal in those situations. Here's a link I found on the topic. There is a sublink that takes you to Eternabond's website with their recommendations.

I don't think EB will cover the spread of my front cap. There is the front end pc, then caulk, followed by a 3" wide pc of alum then the back caulk to the rubber roof.
4" will not cover it!?
