I am purchasing a 2nd car for around town and, as an added bonus, it appears that with a Manual, it can be towed 4 down. Dinghy towing guide lists it as 2500 lbs which is pretty lite.
Anyway, anyone towing with manual corolla? Thoughts??
You are correct, you can tow it 4 down.
Though I don't tow one, I drive one for a daily driver. I can squeeze 36 mpg on the highway and the worst I've seen around town is 29, it usually is around 32.
Both my daughters have one and they love them. What I like is I don't get phone calls with "Daddy, something's wrong with my car."
Nothing but change oil and tires. You can't beat their dependability.
Go for it, you won't be sorry.

We towed a 2002 Corolla, it stayed behind the motorhome as it should! One thing was that when we towed it, mileage would pile up on the odometer. Other than that it was a wonderful car.
