We have a suround in ours. I also installed a suround in a trailer for a guy. I own a bathroom renovation company and it was my first trailer install. If you decide to do one look and see if you have a Bath Crest in your area they have a great product to use. I know that for a Fact.

same here but last one was a tub, this one a shower. the old one had what looked like regular walls but it was caulked everywhere. this one looks like seams and corners are over lapped and don't see any caulk anywhere. been wondering if I should caulk or not-doesn't appear to leak anywhere

I asked that question to the tech when I picked mine up... he said not to caulk as everything overlaps and it all needs to breathe to prevent mold.

Our old trailer did not have one and we never had a problem. I did make one using fiberglass panels from Home Depot. Came out nice and I felt better than having th abre walls. The new trailer came with one.

Our current TT has one. It is just like the one on the link that I left for you on your other thread about this. At that price, I would definitely install one.
Advantage: the way they overlap the tub, there is virtually no risk of leakage. What you have requires a perfect caulk job to keep water from getting down the wall, and behind the tub. The plastic wallpaper will also bubble if not properly dried and maintained.
For the price, if you care about your TT, I would install one. The only reason all newer trailers don't come with one is $$. In the past, they were not available so older trailers normally did not have one, but they also did not have slide outs either, did they?

thanks-makes scense and if it needed it kinda figured they'd do it. could get real costly if it did and they didn't
