Anyone know where to purchase a replacement Icemaker for a Norcold 4 door? I read where someone purchased for $50.00 but all I find is more like $225.00. Any help appreciated.
$50.00 is a good price but not sure where you would find one for that price. Norcold uses a standard Whirpool ice maker which could be purchased at any appliance repair shop or online for around $100.00. You didn't say why you wanted one. Usually should you have problems with a Whirlpool ice maker it is related to the electronic head i.e. the front of the ice maker. The head can be bought for $60.00. What kind of problem are you having?
Thanks for the reply! I have a copy of Norcold Ice Maker Trouble Shooting Procedures. All seems to check out however the surface of my Ice Mold has corroded and I think this has caused the motor to freeze. I have found several replacement Ice Makers on ebay most are new but the model numbers don't match. Some look identical and accept the same electric plug. At this point the question that remains, is the electric circuit the same. I think I will buy one and see if it will interchange. Thanks again for your reply.
