I have the one piece plastic cover over the tub area and it has several small hairline cracks. Most were there right after the fver was new. Has anyone found a good method of sealing these. Even a good opaque coating is fine as we keep ours covered from the inside most of the time. The vent has developed more cracks with age. I don't want to just replace the vent, even if I could find a replacement.Thanks.

I had the same problem with my 98 Itasca & I used some epoxy glue that was designed for plastic materials. It appears to be holding but I'm afraid that with age it will start cracking other places & I'll have to replace it.

Click HERE for a company that might have a replacement for us both.

I got mine from the factory for free and it was not under warranty. Most have an inner and outer cover. I changed the outer in an hr very easy to do. The cracks will keep cooming.

Trying to go cheap and not buying a new replacement might cost you wood rot and structural damage. Be careful.

you could try a soldering gun with a plastic attachment.
you can use it to heat the sides of the crack and fuse them together.
