We go there all the time for work related projects.
Anyway, just to add clarification regarding the RV parks there, Circus Circus does have their own RV park which is what Ron has stated accurately and serves a distinct purpose. If you get a chance check out the other RV park called the Oasis at the south end of the strip. You can view their info at:

The Oasis was actually our first choice.
We found a site that lists all the casinos that are "RV friendly.
They listed whether overnitee was allowed or not.
The list needs to be updates for the fact that Sams Town was listed as a "NO"

We stayed at the Circus Circus KOA during the kid's spring break. The location is great, nice pool, well-stocked store, friendly staff, pet walks, gameroom (with free computers and wi-fi), and the sites are quite large. We would go back --but not during the heat of summer. While there, a snowbird told me the park and possibly the hotel (not the rear towers) may be history by the end of 2009. So hurry!

If you really want to be on the strip, The KOA at the circus circus is the way to go. If you can stand being in a nice area only 3 miles or so from the south end of the strip, then the Oasis is the place to be.
A lot. When it was operated by the hotel, it was a great place to stay. But as soon as it became a KOA, it became the worst KOA I have ever used. From memory:
1. Reserved with a credit card from the net, but after staying there my credit card was charged again, and at a higher rate.
2. Too often they have only one or two service people at the check-in desk, and twice now they would only handle people purchasing things at the store.
3. They service line jumpers, even with a long line and people voicing complaints.
4. I waited 20 minutes while an employee had a leisurely conversation with someone else in the back near the office.
Too bad, because Circus Circus is a great place to visit and eat, and next door is "Slots of Fun", with machines that pay off well.
We always stay at the Oasis. It is real easy to get to from the 15. Going south get off at exit 33 (Blue Diamond). Go left from the offramp and stay is slow lane. Make a right, right into the park. Easy to get to and it is not in the middle of the traffic. They have two pools and spa, large pull-thrus, shuttle to South Point casino, a cafe with good food, even a exercise room. Also one pool is for kids.
Have fun.
